Technology is expanding and getting much better as time goes on. The media gets all the latest technology and they use it all the time to release information or get news across fast. The most used technological piece of equipment that is used by the media is the computer. Approximately 10 years ago you couldn't get access to as much information on the computer as you can today, and it is very helpful not just to the media it is helpful to society as well.
Just about everybody has a cell phone these days and cell phone companies know what people want so they make their phones the way people like it these days. The iPhone from Apple is not just an ordinary cell phone, it can access the Internet quickly, you can download over 75,000 applicantions which include games, social networking, utilities, and a bunch of other categories. This phone was compared to other phones and came out to be one of the best phones to ever come out and to ever come out in the future. There are commercials to promote this phone and it's many applications and the things you can do with it are amazing, it's like a computer that does more for you and fits into your pocket. Millions of people are tuning into NCAA March Madness on CBS and the iPhone offers an application where you can keep up with scores and latest updates from the tournament.
On the topic of CBS hosting the whole NCAA March Madness Tournament, ESPN and CBS are joining forces during the whole month of March and beginning of April. On the top of the screen of the television it reads "ESPN on CBS" and I feel that is a good idea for both television stations because people will tune into ESPN for highlights they missed or scores of other games and CBS will show commercials for other shows on that channel because they realize so many people are watching that channel and either way both of the television stations benefit from the collaboration.
